Working to conserve and restore water quality and wildlife habitat in Perth inner city catchments
Demonstration Landscaping
To encourage a greater use of local plants by home gardeners, the City of Vincent is using local plants in high profile parks and reserves to raise awareness of how attractive and unique these plants are.
Some of the parks within Vincent which use local plants are shown on this page. Piazza Nanni in Northbridge within the City of Perth is also worth a visit.
When growing local plants, it is important to choose plants that are suitable for your soil type. The City of Vincent has a brochure which identifies plants which are suitable for our soil type. If you live outside the City of Vincent, visit the SERCUL website to download the correct brochure for your soil type (within the Perth Metro Area).
